Pilates on Main

Set your body up for success!

Pilates on Main is a boutique Pilates studio rooted in thoughtful movement, individualized instruction, and community.

Through small class sizes and personalized guidance, we help clients build strength, mobility, coordination, and body awareness in a welcoming and grounded environment.

We work with clients of all experience levels — from beginners to experienced practitioners, dancers, athletes, and individuals returning to movement after injury or time away.

Our approach prioritizes precision, sustainability, and long-term movement quality over fast-paced fitness trends.

Owned by Master Intsructor Boróka Nagy, Pilates on Main blends classical Pilates instruction with a deeper understanding of movement, biomechanics, and performance training.

Thoughtful Instruction Over Trend-Driven Fitness

We intentionally maintain small class sizes to allow for individualized attention and hands-on guidance throughout class.

Rather than prioritizing intensity for intensity’s sake, our instructors emphasize alignment, precision, coordination, mobility, and movement quality tailored to each individual body.

Clients come to Pilates on Main seeking a more personal and intentional approach to movement and a classical knowledge of the Pilates Method.

Meet Boroka Nagy

Boróka Nagy is a Master Pilates instructor, choreographer, educator, and movement director with a background in dance, biomechanics, and performance training. She has owned Pilates on Main El Segundo since 2019, and opened the second location in Orange County in 2021.

Originally trained as a dancer in New York City, Boróka holds an MFA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine and is also the founder and artistic director of Reborn Arts, a nonprofit contemporary dance organization based in Orange County.

Her teaching approach combines technical precision with an energetic and encouraging style designed to help clients build strength, mobility, coordination, flexibility, and long-term body awareness.

Drawing from years of experience working with dancers, athletes, and clients of varied movement backgrounds, Boróka approaches Pilates as both a physical practice and a deeper study of how the body moves, adapts, and functions.
